We have donated thousands of dollars and countless hours of service to help those both locally and internationally. Click to see our accopmlishments! You will be impressed.
If you are looking to join a young, enthusiastic club, then this is the one for you! We chartered in February, 2009 and have accomplished much since then. We have consistently remained one of the Top Five clubs in our district of 45 clubs!
Awards, Donations, Events and Volunteer Efforts (This is only a partial list!):
- Volunteered with Rebuilding Together to paint and perform construction duties for a homeowner without the ability or resources to do so.
- Donated money to the Purple Wagon.
- Sponsor students to attend Rotary District 5650’s Rotary Youth Leadership Awards camp
- District 5650 Fundraising Recognition Award
- District 5650 New Generations Recognition Award
- District 5650 Membership Growth Award
- District 5650 Outstanding Club Award – Small Club
- District 5650 Top Ten Clubs - #2 Club - 2013
- YMCA Camp Kitaki Outdoor Music Playground
- Super Bowl Food Drive to Benefit the Salvation Army, Open Door Mission, Siena Francis House, St. Martin de Porre's Food Pantry, and Stephen's Center.
- Wine Tasting Events to Benefit the Boys Town National Hotlineā - $150,000+
- Mock interviews at Millard West High School
- Sponsored a new Interact club at Millard North High School
- 100% of our members contribute to The Rotary Foundation to End Polio
- Hosted Group Exchange Team from India
- Adopt families at Christmas time
- Donation to Millard West High School Presidential Physical Fitness Achievement Award - $250.
- Donation to Ballet Nebraska, $600.
- Donation to Salute to Military Service Men and Women Reception and Dinner for the families of the Fallen - $250.
- Participated in the Metro Rotary Run to END POLIO NOW.
- Filled sandbags for the Missouri River Flood
- Sponsor Foreign Exchange Student to Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico
- Host Foreign Exchange Student from Bolivia
- Donated gently used business attire to aid those in job hunting
- Donated jump ropes for fire fighters
- Foreign Exchange Students to and from Xalapa, Mexico
- Hosted Foreign Exchange Student from Japan
- Emergency Pregnancy Services - $100 cash and $100 in diapers.
- Wine Tasting Event to Benefit the Omaha Food Bank - BackPack Program - $5,000.
- Volunteered at the Omaha Dental Mission of Mercy
