No Topic Turned Away!

A club assembly is a meeting that all members attend to discuss club programs and activities. The Southwest Omaha Rotary Night Club holds a club assembly the last Tuesday of each month. These assemblies are round table discussions involving all members of the club.

Assemblies allow members to:

  • Brainstorm ideas for projects and activities
  • Set goals and develop action plans
  • Coordinate committee activities
  • Review the club's strengths, opportunities, and weaknesses
  • Learn more about Rotary and its programs
  • Socialize with other Rotarians

Members can ask each other questions such as:

  • What would you change about our weekly meetings?
  • What are the most important factors in retaining current members?
  • How can our club recruit new members?
  • What changes would increase your participation in club service projects?
  • What are the reasons you do or do not contribute to The Rotary Foundation?

Our club assemblies are the backbone of our club, and allow us open and honest communication with one another. If you have a topic you would like discussed, bring it up! No topic will be turned away.
